Final Project Update (Week 8)

My main interest right now is what are other dynamic information we can gather about Carleton’s interaction with Northfield on its expansion. Creating a story map is a good start as we can start look at how Carleton changed over time, but a lot of nuanced information need to be filled in through accounts. I plan to look deeper through the archives to see if there were past news stories about Carleton’s decision to build new buildings and people’s reaction to it.

There are also other quantitative data that we need to measure, include the student population over time or estimated land price at Northfield during this time. There is still a lot to be done.
