Hacking the Humanities Carleton Expansion

Introduction:

I am personally interested in how spatial “evolution” of campus can correlate with certain phenomenons/events and provide deeper understandings about Carleton’s decision when expanding its campus. I am also interested in how the colleg will develop in the future with a limited amount of space (to a certain extent, similar to certain modern urban entities.) The college decided to tear down the Mudd hall and rebuild a new science building over the same location. What would the college do in the future in need of additional buildings or dormitories to accompany the growing population of students? I hope to understand how historical and modern decision makers have down and investigate potential future solutions for the college.
