Gannan Memoirs, is a series of essay vignettes that investigate the life of Tibetan nomads in the modern landscape, studying how their unique lifestyle and culture is reconfiguring in responses to the introduction of modern media and new tourism enterprises. The series emphasizes positionality of the filmmaker, critically elucidating personal ideas in essayistic form.
